Meet Jacqueline

Identified as a “change-maker in the field,” Jacqueline Jove occupies a unique position at the forefront of the music industry as a performing artist, leader, and educator. A first generation Cuban-American, she completed her education in the United States and France and continues to perform, teach, and give presentations around the world. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.

Performer

Jacqueline enjoys an exciting career that includes solo, chamber music, and orchestral performances. She has been praised as an “expressive and masterful violinist” who brings both “sensitivity and thoughtful musicianship” and “sparkling energy and flare” to her performances.

Leader

Described as a “fearless leader” Jacqueline is a trail blazer in the field. She served as the Director of Education of the Sphinx Organization whose mission is to transform lives through the power of diversity in the arts and remains active as a consultant and Project Mentor for the Global Leaders Program.

Educator

In demand as an educator, Jacqueline is a transformative teacher and pedagogue. She maintains a private teaching studio and is sought after for guest artist masterclass engagements. Recent violin masterclass appearances include the Universidad Católica IMUC (Chile), NEOJIBA (Brazil), and the University of Miami.



In 2020, Jacqueline moderated a panel called “From the Source” with conservatory students from The Juilliard School, the Manhattan School of Music, and the Cleveland Institute of Music. This conversation offers current and aspiring conservatory students a platform to share their perspectives, experiences, and solutions in the area of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
